committees give County employees the opportunity to have their voices heard
within Boulder County government. The County, in turn, benefits from this input.
Boards and committees are listed below.

Employee Benefits Advisory Board

The Boulder County Employee Benefit Advisory Board is an
employee group that works with the County’s benefit consultant and makes
recommendations to the Board of Commissioners in regard to the County’s
self-funded medical and dental plans.
Members: 15 members plus one BCEA representative
Term: 2 years (BCEA-appointed rep. serves 1 year)
Meetings: Second Friday of each month (March-September)
at 9 a.m.

Employee of the Month Committee

The Boulder County Employee of the Month Committee reviews
nominations for the County's monthly Employee of the Month Award. This award is
presented to County employees who go beyond the scope of their job description.
Members: Varies
Term: Until member leaves County or resigns from post
Meetings: None; committee members are contacted
individually to review nomination letters and make recommendations
