MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

BOULDER COUNTY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2001

The Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County met in regular session in full conformity with the law and resolution of said Board at the regular place of meeting in the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, Third Floor, Courthouse, Boulder, Colorado, on Wednesday, September 12, 2001.

The meeting was called to order at approximately 3:00 p.m. by Chair Mendez with the following present:

Jana L. Mendez, Chair

Paul Danish, Vice Chair

Ronald K. Stewart, Commissioner

County Attorney’s Office:

Amendment to the following resolutions concerning ballot issues (resolutions adopted September 11, 2001):

1. Resolution 2001-128, describing a proposal for the addition of a 0.10% County-Wide Sales and Use Tax, providing for the use of roceeds of such tax for transportation improvements, and a voter-approved revenue change;

2. Resolution 2001-130, calling a special election and certifying certain issues to the November 6, 2001, mail ballot election: (3:00 – 3:02) (1945, Tape No. 51/DAT recorder, "counter" mode)

Legal notice was published in the newspaper of record in accordance with the statutory or regulatory requirements pertaining to this matter.

Speakers: None

ACTION

Commissioner Stewart moved to repeal and re-enact adoption of Resolution Nos. 2001-128 and 2001-130, as amended. Commissioner Danish seconded the motion.

VOTE: MENDEZ, aye; DANISH, aye; STEWART, aye. Motion carried 3-0. (1981)

Upon motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously, this meeting was adjourned by the Commissioners at approximately 3:05 p.m.
