Building Division

2006 Building Code Amendments

The Building Divisions function is to administer building codes in the unincorporated portion of Boulder County. The Boulder County Building Code is adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.

Effective January 1, 2008 all permits applications to the Boulder County Land Use Department, Building Safety and Inspections Services Division will be reviewed and inspected under the 2006 editions (unless otherwise noted) of the following International Code Standards:

  • International Building Code
  • International Plumbing Code
  • International Fuel Gas Code
  • International Residential Code
  • International Mechanical Code
  • International Energy Conservation Code.
  • National Electric Code (NEC) 2005
