A team of two facilitators directs the community group conferences. They conduct interviews
(pre-conference) with all people involved including face-to-face interviews with the victim(s) and
the offender(s), co-facilitate the conference and record the negotiated contracts.
Individuals interested in becoming a facilitator are required to attend a 30-hour comprehensive
training offering philosophical education plus the skills and knowledge needed to facilitate restorative
justice conferences.
If you would like more information about becoming a facilitator, or to sign up to become a community
representative, contact Jennifer Quilling.
