This is a partial opening of the trail; the remainder is\u00a0expected to open later this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The new, open portion of trail starts at the current terminus\u00a0of the Rock Creek Regional Trail near 120th Street in Lafayette and ends approximately one half-mile north of the trail underpass at Hwy 7. The section north of this point will remain closed\u00a0due to ongoing construction and visitors must turn around on\u00a0the trail.<\/p>\n<p>This section of the trail will be open to pedestrians,\u00a0bicyclists and equestrians.
