Many people credit the start of this quilt trail movement to a family farm in Ohio in 2001 and it has spread throughout the country. Small, rural communities that embraced barn quilts have developed driving tours to attract tourism.<\/p>\n
Barn quilts give owners the opportunity to spruce up their barns and share a bit of their personalities through this folk art.<\/p>\n
