May 28 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Betasso Preserve
The Boulder County Park Rangers are bringing the Olympic spirit to you this summer with the first ever Junior Ranger Olympics. Join us at the Opening Ceremonies for a torch relay, junior ranger triathlon and more fun Olympic themed challenges.
The event is perfect for kids aged 5-12, but all family members are welcome. A parent or guardian must be present.
We are currently planning new challenges and activities.
Sign up to receive an email when the site is ready to go!
Track your progress as you become a Nomad, an Explorer, an Adventurer and a Champion. Earn points and badges with each challenge you complete. Challenges range in difficulty from planning a "no technology day" at home to learning outdoor safety and survival skills with rangers.
Challenges can be completed May 27 through September 5.
Everyone is welcome to participate, but you must be between 5-12 years of age to win prizes and attend the celebration that will be held on September 12.
Earn 1,000 points and you'll be invited to celebrate your success at the Junior Ranger Graduation. At the graduation you'll earn a Junior Ranger badge and have the chance to win awesome prizes.
When the program opens, create an account using only an email address. If you want, you can track your progress as a family using one account. Track your progress throughout the summer. If you earn 1,000 points, we will send you an invitation to the Junior Ranger Graduation.
